NOTE... There were corrections made this week, notably to Mark Gainey's record. He picked up 2 games, placing him atop the East Division, as well as into the DFC Power Poll (supplanting Angie PIlgrim).

The Week That Was...
In a dreadful week for most (see L,DL&S), Angie Pilgrim becomes one of few people to win 2 weeks in a single season, and she does it before the midweek point. She wins with a 6-2 record, while in 2nd, is her loving fiancee, David Mark, with 5-3. Incidentally, he also nailed the TB with 34.
Tied for 3rd this week is Daniel Powell and Tyler Campbell, at 5-3, while in 5th is Jason Duren at 5-3. The rest of the top ten ends up at 4-4, with Garrett Cheney and Scott Latta tied for 6th, Jonathan Osborne in 8th, Tad Roose in 9th and in 10th, Gina Williams.

Also finishing:
4-4: Tom Johnson, Ty Coffey, Justin Glenn, Tebe Shaw, Drew Morris, Eddy McB Jr, Ryan Sherman, Mark Gainey
3-5: Matt Latta, Tommy McLeod, Eddy Mc Sr, Sarah Hasha, Lori Smith, Tim Wasyluka, Jason Demastus, Jason Barnette
2-6: Michael Nipp, Willis Watkins, Jenn Ernst
1-7: Yours Truly (shut up, Mark)

Standings
Fulaytar Conference
North Division
In a year where rivals Alabama and Auburn's game may actually mean something, the rivalry between Matt and David Mark may actually mean something as well, as these two continue to battle for the top spot in the division. Of course, it doesnt help that Angie keeps winning weeks, and that Ty is only a few games back. Tom is even showing signs of life after a dreadful start.
David Mark Osborne, 26-14 (13.2)
Matt Latta, 24-16 (12.4)
Angie Pilgrim, 23-17 (13.4)
Ty Coffey, 21-19 (19.2)
Tom Johnson, 21-19 (13.6)

MidCentral Division
He's the Deuce Madness champion, and seemingly wants to go 2-for-2 in Deuce Sports this year, as Justin stays atop the DFC Power Poll for a second week. This was a week to catch up, but Tommy couldn't capatilize, as he falls 3 games back, while Jason and Tebe are both beginning to hit a stride of sorts. Jenn is now officially in a rebuilding year.
Justin Glenn, 28-12 (15.0)
Tommy McLeod, 25-15 (12.0)
Jason Barnette, 21-19 (13.8)
Tebe Shaw, 20-20 (13.4)
Jenn Ernst, 18-22 (12.8)

West Division
Jason Duren leads the West Division for the 5th straight week, as he may finally have some DFC success come year's end, as Sarah falls 3 games behind, as does Demastus. Division strongholds Eddy McBroom and Drew Morris are in an unfamiliar place... the cellar.
Jason Duren, 25-15 (17.25)
Sarah Hasha, 22-18 (13.0)
Jason Demastus, 22-18 (17.0)
Eddy McBroom, 21-19 (10.2)
Drew Morris, 19-21 (14.0)

McBroom Conference
East Division
Gainey stays atop the division in a weekend that saw Yours Truly, Mark, Garrett and Tyler all hold the lead at some point (sometimes only for the length of one game finishing to the next game finishing...), while Willis--despite getting his picks in--couldn't do much either.
Mark Gainey, 23-17 (10.75)
Garrett Cheney, 21-19 (18.0)
Tyler Campbell, 20-20 (7.4)
Yours Truly, 19-21 (14.0)
Willis Watkins, 12-28 (24.5)

South Central Division
In a rivalry like their older brothers, Jon and Scott's division rivalry may mean something this year as well, though anything can happen here... two time champ Tad Roose, Lori Smith and Eddy McBroom (tied with Scott) are all within three games.
Jon Osborne, 25-15 (9.0)
Scott Latta, 24-16 (12.4)
Eddy McB Jr, 24-16 (17.4)
Tad Roose, 23-17 (13.0)
Lori Smith, 22-18 (10.6)

South Division
The DFC's own NL West is beginning to get competitive... the defending division champ, Michael Nipp, has officially become the defending division chump, while Daniel seeks his first division crown.
Tim Wasyluka, 23-17 (13.8)
Daniel Powell, 22-18 (10.2)
Gina Williams, 21-19 (10.8)
Ryan Sherman, 19-21 (22.0)
Michael Nipp, 15-25 (13.4)

THE DFC Power Poll
1. Justin Glenn, 28-12 (15.0) (1)
2. DM Osborne, 26-14 (13.2) (5)
3. Jonathan Osborne, 25-15 (9.0) (3)
4. Tommy McLeod, 25-15 (12.0) (2)
5. Jason Duren, 25-15 (17.25) (9)
6. Matt Latta, 24-16 (12.4) (4)
7. Scott Latta, 24-16 (12.4) (6)
8. Eddy McBroom Jr, 24-16 (17.4) (8)
9. Mark Gainey, 23-17 (10.75)

10. Tad Roose, 23-17 (13.0) (NR)
Dropped Out: Tim Wasyluka (7), Lori Smith (10)

Game Bucket O'Wings
The DFC's version of the game ball this week goes out to Domata Peko, the big Samoan defensive tackle for Michigan. They lost in OT, but my favorite play of the whole game was seeing Manu Mana the Slender, with his curly afro flapping in the wind, grabbing the fumble and taking the ball 74 yards downfield... and let me tell you, Big 'Un was topping 300 and still did a flying leap over a tackle for the TD.

Top Five College Record:
1 tie) Jon Osborne, Tim Wasyluka, DMOsborne, Matt Latta, Jason Duren at 15-9

Top Five Pro Record:
1) Justin Glenn - 14-2
2 tie) Tommy McLeod - 11-5
2 tie) DMOsborne - 11-5
4 tie) Jon Osborne, Mark Gainey, Jason Duren, Jason Demastus - 10-6

Top Five TBA:
1) Tyler Campbell - 7.4
2) Jon Osborne - 9.0
3 tie) Daniel Powell - 10.2
3 tie) Eddy Mc - 10.2
5) Lori Smith - 10.6

Lies, Darn Lies & Statistics
--Not to keep harping on what a crazy season it has been, last season's total losses for playoff players such as Mark Gainey, Yours Truly, Drew Morris and Michael Nipp were 28, 30, 33 and 31, respectively. After five weeks, the total losses for those same people are 19, 21, 21 and 25, respectively.
--The group of "In the Top Ten The Entire Season" loses one more... Tim Wasyluka slips to 11th this season, leaving Tommy McLeod, Justin Glenn and David Mark Osborne as the only ones left... the lowest rank in that small group is actually #8, which was DMO's ranking in Week 2 this season.
--Speaking of last season, an amazing turnaround is being done by Tommy McLeod, who won the MVP in DFC II, but hasn't seen the playoffs since. Last season, Tommy finished the year 24th, never going above 20th for the whole season, with a 52-44 record. He's on pace to finish slightly above 54 wins this year, but with everyone else's record, that might be enough for the postseason.
--Looking at all-time stats, Yours Truly sat quietly at 2 wins from 300... and one week later, I sit 1 win away from 300. Very sad. Mikey is at 295, and DMOsborne is now within reach at 292.
--Young Garrett is now 15 away from 100... Lori is 5 from 200, and Tim is 13 from 200.
Before the season began, Dawn Langner was 35th, and last, in all time winning in the DFC, with 26. Ross Kingrey is 34th, next to last, with 27. I mention it because in the next several weeks, our rookies--Angie, Jason, Gina, Tebe, Ryan and Willis--will start winding their way up through the "retirement block"... beyond Dawn and Ross, such legends of DFC irrelevency like Trey O'Neal (34), Josh Crosby (39) and Ryan Smith (43) await.
--Sharing the 10th spot in the All Time Top Ten is both Justin Glenn and Tad Roose with 251 wins. It will be interesting to see who's in the top ten when the DFC VI season is over.
--As for the 10th spot in the All Time College Top Ten, Tad is there again... sharing it with Jonathan Osborne and Drew Morris with 152 wins. Scott is only 2 college victories back at 150.
--Jason Demastus is one win away from 100 college wins... and 3 losses away from 100 college losses.
--In pro, I was one win from catching and two from passing Tom Johnson... and then I laid a big egg in the form of 0-4 this week on Sunday. Tom is still #1 with 131 wins, Jennifer moved into #2 with 128, and I fell back to 3rd with 127.
--Until recently, the top five has been dominated by Deuce Guys and Jennifer, as in All Time Wins is Jenn, Yours Truly, Mikey and Tommy, All Time College is Jenn, Mikey, me and Tommy and Pro is Tom, Jenn, Yours Truly and Tommy... but lo and behold, here comes David Mark Osborne. His rockin' season, coupled with down years for the Deuce across the board--except for Tommy--has allowed DMO to move into 4th in wins (ahead of Tommy), to move into 4th in College (along with Matt, pushing Tommy to 6th) and now tied for 4th in Pro (again, with Tommy).
--Before I get into a Eli Manning type love affair with one David Mark, it should be noted that its Justin Glenn who is dominating this season, and is truly the only one on pace to match last season's totals (he was 62-34 in DFC V)
