THE WEEK THAT WAS
In my spare time, I'm working on putting together some stats that will statistically name the 20 greatest DFC players of all time (DFC 20, so 20 players, get it?) and most assuredly in the top five, maybe top three, would be one Drew // Morris.  He takes home another weekly win, the 12th of his career, and by my count, a DFC record.  His 9-1 record bests the 7-3 from Yours Truly (2nd) and Lt Dan (3rd).

Tommy "The Highlander" McLeod goes 6-4 and gets 4th, while Tad "The Dynasty" roose, DMO, and Zack "The Attack" Graves all tie for 5th. Jenny Ernst takes 8th, and Big Eddy and Big Tom tie for 9th place.  Notably, in 11th place, James "The Pickin' Maker" Hawbaker, all at 6-4.

Well, it took a few years, but Tommy McLeod, an original DFC'er, wins his 8th week of his career... and just like his last win in DFC XVII, Wk 2, he tops this week with a 7-3 record.  Not an easy week for anyone, as Justin Dearing has his third straight top 3 weekly appearance. This time at #2, also at 7-3.

Matthew "The Elder" Pinky was the only other 7-3 record this week, finishing 3rd, as the rest of the Top Ten all have 6-4 records, as DMO gets 4th, Jacob "The Pinky" Pinky in 5th, tied for 6th is Big Tom J, and Chris Croyle, in 8th is Danny Powell, in 9th Drew // Morris and finally, in 10th, Tad "The Dynasty" Roose.

LIES, DARN LIES & STATISTICS

• Just a few quick thoughts. First, worth mentioning that Justin Dearing is only the 2nd DFC'er to ever start two consecutive seasons by winning Week 1.  He did so last year and this, both with 9-1 records.  DFC Hall of Famer Matt Latta also won Weeks 1 in both DFC VII and DFC VIII in 2006 and 2007
• Current streaks in action... the longest active streak of Plus .500 weekly records goes to Mark Gainey, at 12 weeks overall.  
• Zack Graves is the active leader in the .500 and up weekly records -- he hasn't had a losing weekly record since Week 6 of last year.
