THE WEEK THAT WAS
He's a former champion (DFC XI) and now gets his 4th weekly crown (first since Week 10 of DFC XI)... a bright spot on a season that has Trey "The Answer" Cartledge missing the postseason for the 2nd straight season. He goes 8-2, as does Little Eddy McBroom, who completes a huge comeback to not only get South Division title (his 2nd in 3 seasons) and a spot in the postseason. And he finishes a close 2nd for the week.
In third, Brad "The Bald One" Ashby, has a fine week to end a lackluster season at 8-2, while Jonathan Osborne takes 4th at 7-3. Yours Truly rode a roller coaster of emotions, getting 5th at 7-3, while Lt Dan Sellers' 6th place finish lands him in the playoffs as well. In 7th place is Chris Croyle, while Justin "The Blend" Glenn gets 8th, Tyler "Sexy Beast of the DFC -- Self Appointed" Campbell gets 9th (and the East Division title) at 6-4, and in a tie for 10th, Zack "The Attack" Graves and Mark "The Mighty" Gainey, both at 6-4.

LIES, DARN LIES & STATISTICS
- What a crazy season it's been... only 2 DFC'ers, (Randy Latta & Lori Beirne) won 60 or more games, and 5 out of 6 division winners won 59 or less games. The only other time this happened was in DFC VI, when Mark Gainey won 61 games (in his 4th of 5 straight East Division titles) and everyone else won less than 59.
- All Division winners are multiple time winners--Matt wins his 4th North Division... Brad Latta wins his 3rd straight MidCentral... Big Eddy wins his 4th West title... Tyler Campbell gets his 2nd East crown... Randy Latta won his 2nd South Central... and Eddy Jr gets his 3rd South Division
- Notable, this is the 2nd time both Big Eddy and his son Eddy Jr won division titles in the same season. The other was DFC XV two years ago.
- For the rookies, unofficially, Bill Seybolt will likely capture Rookie of the Year with 53 wins. He ends up 68th on the all time list. Brett Smith gets 49 wins (72nd place all time) and Rick Theule wins 47, good enough for 74th all time.
- On the other side of the all time listing, Drew Morris and Jennifer Ersnt both have now won 1071 games career lifetime, but Drew's losses are at 656, compared to Jennifer's at 701, putting Drew in 2nd on the all time list. Its worth nothing that both Drew & Jennifer missed the postseason.
- Eddy McBroom is 4th on the all time list with 1063 wins all time, and with a good playoff run, can feasibly get 2nd on the all time list (Yours Truly is 1st with 1075 wins, so an early flameout by me with a strong run by Eddy could put Eddy Mac #1 All Time Ever)
- Tommy Mc is the 6th DFC'er to cross 1000 wins, while Jonathan Osborne (975), Tad Roose (962), Lori Beirne (948) and DMOsborne (947) complete the Top Ten
- Mikey Nipp crosses the 900 wins mark (904--15th place all time)... while Sarah Hasha is likely to be the next to hit 800, sometime in DFC XVIII, as she's at 789 all time.
- Brad Latta (504) and Steven Ray (503) get past 500 wins, while Bradley Pinkerton needs next year to get to 400--he's sitting at 399. Matthew Pinkerton (195) and Jacob Pinkerton (193) seem next for 200, but Clay Shaver has 194, and has a good shot at getting to 200 first -- he's in the postseason, both Pinks are not
- Playoff victories... Drew Morris (129)... Eddy McBroom (128).... Mark Gainey (111)... Trey Cartledge (90).... Jenni Ersnt (90)... Yours Truly (82)... James Hawbaker (78)... Tad Roose (73)... Lori Beirne (73) -- Eddy, Yours Truly, James in postseason this year.
- The latest run of the .500 record (going at least .500 every week) is Zack Graves, currently at 26 weeks. Playoff weeks do not count in this record. Next streak is at 8 weeks, with Tyler Campbell and Matt Halpert.
- As far as the +.500 record (finishing at least 1 game over .500 each week), Mark Gainey holds this current streak at 6 weeks

In case you didn't get my follow up email, I did the ultimate gaffe... for the first time in 17 seasons, I listed a result of a game incorrectly. And then took that incorrect result and based Week Nine results in the DFC off of it... meaning when I fixed it, a lot of people had adjusted records. So I do apologize, and thanks for catching the error... Atlanta did beat Green Bay, not the other way around.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Its hard having to strip a rookie with a weekly win (Sorry TOOLIE), but its made up for by the fact I get to give it to another rookie, that being Brett "The Pops" Smith, owner of Dothan Ice Cream and creator of the best banana pudding pops you've ever had. When in Dothan, find him, tell him d$ sent ya, and maybe get a hug. And then buy a pop. Don't get one for free -- he's a small business, he has bills to pay too. Congrats Brett!!
Grandy Latta marches his way to an MVP title this year, as he takes 2nd and Eddy McBroom the Younger continues his comeback after a lackluster beginning to the year -- the top three all go 8-2.
Nailing the TB and getting 4th is Sarah Hasha, though she always seems to succeed a little too late, this week at 7-3. Formerly winning the week, now just taking 5th is Rick "Its Pronounced TOOLIE" Theule, while Jenni Jeni Jennie Jenny Jennifer Ginnifer Ernst gets 6th and Tommy "The Highlander" McLeod declares "There can only be One" in 7th place. Also at 7-3 is the former DFC champ who declared himself "The Sexy Beast of the DFC" (subjective decision) Tyler Campbell, who takes 8th, and tying up for 9th place to round out the Weekly top ten is Justin "The Blend" Glenn and Trey "The Answer" Cartledge.
