THE WEEK THAT WAS
Well, it happened twice in DFC XVI, but not since, but chalk up another weekly win for Jonathan Osborne, capturing what seems to be his 8th of his career. I managed to tell a few people this weekend "if you went 5-5, don't worry, nearly half the league did too". But Jonny Oz went 8-2 for the weekly crown
In 2nd, defending DFC Champ Mark "The Mighty" Gainey not only went 7-3, but also nailed the TieBreak at 54. In 3rd, rebounding after a disasterous Week 1, Eddy The Younger also went 7-3, as did Jenni Ernst, good enough for 4th.
Yours Truly got 5th at 7-3, with a 2 way tie for 6th between Drew "The Grassman" Warren and Grandy Latta, and rounding out the top ten, a 3 way tie for 8th place, with DMO, Mitchell the Pinky Youngest and Lt Dan, all being 6-4

LIES, DARN LIES & STATISTICS
- Without too many stats this week, there are a handful of DFC'ers who are looking at pretty good .500 or greater streaks, including a few who never went .500 or below all of last season
- Mitchell Pinkerton has had a winning weekly record for 12 straight weeks now, and has gone .500 or better in 14 straight weeks. This is important because 12 weeks is approaching rarified air... Matt "The Great Bear of the North" Latta holds the record with 17 weeks, Yours Truly has a streak of 15, and Mark Gainey holds 14.
- Though dotted with several 5-5 records, Brad Ashby just had his 14th straight .500 or better week.
- Steven Ray, Grandy Latta, Big Eddy McBroom and Tommy McLeod just had their 16th straight .500 or better weeks as well.
- Topping this streak list currently is Clay Shaver, at 17 weeks so far.
- For the All Time 1000 - that being 1000 all time wins (regular season and playoffs), Daniel Powell is next. He sits at 994 wins all time, while Tom Johnson (971) and Michael Nipp (965) are the only other ones in the 900s (Tim Wasyluka is next on the list at 876)
- The All Time 1000 Club has 11 members currently, with Yours Truly, Big Eddy, Drew Morris, Jeni Ernst, Mark Gainey, and Tommy Mac all have 1100+ wins, and both Jon & DMOsborne, Eddy Jr, Tad Roose and Lori Beirne having 1000+.
- Jonathan Osborne is at 1046, so would likely hit 1100 all time late this year with a good run (and playoffs) or next season
- The Regular Season 1000 Club has only five members, with Yours Truly, Jenni Ernst, Tommy Mac, Big Eddy and Drew Morris all having over 1000 wins in a regular season. Jonny Oz looks up next with 993, Mark Gainey with 988, and Eddy Jr with 982
- Congrats to Trey Cartledge for crossing 700 wins this weekend, with Grandy Latta needing 4 more to get to 500.
