LIES, DARN LIES & STATISTICS

  • Congrats to Mitchell Pinkerton, who is possibly headed towards the MVP title and unless he has a collapse of historic proportions, his first playoff spot.  He's sitting at 56 wins, and with 18 games left, needs only 4 more wins to surpass his best season ever and get to 60 wins for the first time.
  • Sixty wins is a huge achievement, as its not something most do frequently.  Mark "The Dynasty" Gainey has the most 60+ win seasons with 10, while Jennifer Ernst & Big Eddy both have 7, and Yours Truly, Lori "Sunshine" Beirne and Tad "The Dynasty" Roose have 6 each.
  • Also for Mitchell, he and Remodeling Clay Shaver are in a battle for the College Title, with Mitch having 34 wins, and Clay with 32.
  • Steven Ray and Big Eddy Mac are with 25 and 24 respectively in the NFL record race
  • Meanwhile, Jonathan Osborne has a 8.29 TBA, while Tyler has 8.43, and James Hawbaker and Justin Dearing both have 8.86 in the TieBreak Average Title race
  • With an 8 game lead over Casey Lewis, it looks like Justin Dearing may have the Rookie of the Year honors wrapped up, and is on the edge of becoming the first rookie to make the postseason in that rookie year since Michael Ferris did it two years ago in DFC XVI
