LIES, DARN LIES, & STATISTICS
Here comes the random numbers and facts, taken directly from The Massive DFC History Spreadsheet, that are all true...

  • First up, as a reminder, the current top spot in regular season wins totals 1300 wins, and hit that number  this week.  Who is this, you might ask?  Yours Truly.  1,300 wins in the regular season over 23 seasons.  Self brag? Yep.
  • Your top five in this category - Tommy McLeod (1262)... Jeni Ernst (1260)... Drew Morris (1252)... and Big Eddy McB (1245).
  • A few milestones hit in the 3 weeks of this season so far -- David Mark Osborne crossed 1200 wins, and sitting at 1,205, he's one of only 8 to do so (besides the top five I just listed, you have Jon Osborne (1224) and Mark Gainey (1222))
  • The next two likely to hit 1200 in the next few weeks are Eddy McBroom Jr (1185) and Tad Roose (1181).  Remember, this is REGULAR season wins -- we'll talk All Time Wins in an upcoming LDL&S section
  • Michael Nipp finally hit 1100 this season, and Tyler Campbell looks to be the next to hit 1000 wins for his career, as he's sitting at 982.
  • Trey Cartledge got the 900 mark so far (912)... and despite his worst effort, Young Garrett Cheney has stumbled over 900, now at 904...
  • Other milestones of note... Zack Graves is 10 wins away from hitting 900 for his career...
  • There have been 87 people who've played this little game of ours over the last 23 years. If you want to be in the Top 50 all time, a retired Bill "Atlanta" Seybolt sits at 227 wins.  Randy Latta, active, is your #30, with 718 wins regular season.   Brad Latta sits at #25 with 775, and the aforementioned Zack Graves sits at #20 all time.
  • Rising through Week 3: Jacob Pinky, 4 games over .500 this far into the season... Drew Morris, the defending DFC Champ not missing a beat and at #1... Daniel Powell, spent this entire season, all 3 weeks, in the top 10
  • Falling through Week 4: Garrison Ryfun, the pride of Kennesaw, follows up a stellar rookie season with a rough start... Tim Wasyluka, the defending South Division Champ has really stumbled out of the gate... Matty Pinky, watching 2 of his brothers dominate him in the ratings
