THE WEEK THAT WAS
It wasn't pretty - it was DFC XVII (2016) the last time someone won Week 1 with a 7-3 record (James Hawbaker) - but Mark "The Mighty" Gainey managed to pull it off this week, winning his 11th career week. 

Drew "Slash" Morris and Garrison "Pride of Marietta" Ryfun both tie for 2nd at 7-3, while Eddy Jr gets 4th, and Hurricane Rhett in 5th, also at 7-3.

The remaining Top 10 all go 6-4, with Yours Truly in 6th... Matt "The Coca Cola Cowboy" Mink and Big Eddy Mac tying for 7th... Tommy "The Highlander" McLeod in 9th, and rounding out the first top ten of the season, rookie Jeremy "The Director" Burgess in 10th.
